The Greater New Braunfels region is making major strides in workforce development with the graduation of the first TX FAME cohort and the opening of Skillpoint Alliance’s permanent training center at CTTC. These programs, in partnership with TSTC, are equipping local talent with in-demand skills for advanced manufacturing and industrial careers.

The New Braunfels Chamber earned the 2025 TEDC Community Workforce Excellence Award for its innovative Youth CareerQuest program and was also recognized for its regional workforce partnership with Seguin through the expansion of the Central Texas Technology Center. These initiatives showcase New Braunfels as a leader in workforce development, talent retention, and regional collaboration across Central Texas.

Water-tech company KETOS Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters to New Braunfels, Texas, bringing its industry-leading AI-powered water quality monitoring and analytics platform to a fast-growing, business-friendly hub between Austin and San Antonio. The move highlights New Braunfels as an emerging destination for innovative tech and sustainability-focused companies seeking affordability, talent access, and room to scale.

Northeast Lakeview College is expanding its footprint in New Braunfels with a new, larger campus opening in Spring 2026 to meet growing demand for affordable, local higher education and workforce training. The 58,000-square-foot facility will offer expanded programs in nursing, engineering, and semiconductor technology.

This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, at Byron P Steele II High School 1300 FM 1003, Cibolo, TX 78108 and will feature over 60 employers from the cities of Cibolo, New Braunfels, Schertz, and Seguin. 

Alongside our regional economic development partners in Seguin, Schertz, and Cibolo, the New Braunfels Economic Development team will be hosting the Spring Regional Job Fair on May 30th in Schertz.
