The New Braunfels Manufacturing Association (NBMA) has awarded its first Honorary Life Member Award to Jerry Negrete, quality assurance manager at Detex Corp., in recognition of his 25 years of dedicated service to the organization and his lasting impact on the local manufacturing industry.

At the Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation’s quarterly luncheon, City Manager Robert Camareno shared an update on the city’s 2024–2029 Strategic Plan, outlining progress on major initiatives supporting growth, connectivity, and community development.

The New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce announced the local expansion of high-tech manufacturer AUMOVIO, formerly the Automotive Group sector of Continental. The $110 million expansion project will create 100 new high-technology jobs and add 65,000 square feet of advanced manufacturing space.
