Ian Perez is the Senior Vice President of Community Development, committed to fostering an environment that empowers local businesses and elevates the quality of life for residents of New Braunfels. Ian and his team strives to create a thriving community that supports the needs and aspirations of its diverse population. Ian also oversees the Military Affairs Committee, Government Affairs Committee, Transportation Committee, and the Hispanic Business Alliance.

Before joining the New Braunfels community, Ian, a Corpus Christi native, moved to College Station in 1998 to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University. In 2008, he became a professional engineer, and in May 2012, he married his beloved wife, Jocelyn Poloskey, an alumnus of Texas A&M's rival school. The couple moved to New Braunfels in and became proud parents to Leila and Nicholas. The family attends Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church and enjoys playful banter over football allegiances.
