Located in New Braunfels, Cakes Couture makes edible art that tastes just as amazing as it looks, created by our award winning decorator, Rhonda Hollon.
Rhonda & James Hollon are the owners of Cakes Couture. They are a husband and wife team. They make all of their cakes and pastries fresh and from scratch.
Both Rhonda & James have won first and second place at the Austin cake show in the past 2 years. Rhonda started making small pastries after finding a small DIY cupcake book at her daughter (Leah)’s book fair. She was quickly intrigued and shortly after interned and then managed the largest Italian bakery in Southeast Texas. Once they both moved to New Braunfels in 2016, they quickly got to work to grow their own French/ Italian bakery. You will find The Hollons in blogs, such as Wedding Chicks, Wandering Weddings, PW, and San Antonio Magazine. They are regulars on SA Live and you can often find them working hard for New Braunfels Wedding Chamber.
When the Hollon’s are not hard at work, you may spot them floating down the Comal river in town.
