Board Reviews National Election Preview

The Chamber’s Board of Directors convened on Monday, October 26 via Zoom conference call with Chamber Chair of the Board Wes Studdard presiding at this virtual meeting.

Board members received an update on the State and National Elections Preview from Rich Leidl, City of New Braunfels Federal Representative and Daniel Gonzalez of Gonzalez Public Affairs & Consulting ahead of the November 3 Election Day.

In addition, Chris Douglas, CEO of Communities in Schools of South-Central Texas and the Chamber's Government Affairs Committee Chair shared an amendment to the Chamber’s Legislative Priorities, which were approved by the board at this meeting.

Several accomplishments were also celebrated including the issuance of a City of a Princess Decree to Kellie Stallings with CONNECTIONS Individual & Family Services, 3rd Quarter Blue Coat Debbie Meek and Senior Blue Coat Helgard Hollis and a Chair of the Board Award to Chamber President Michael Meek
