Connections was founded in 1981 to provide safe shelter for at-risk and homeless youth with nowhere else to turn. What started as a children’s shelter has grown to include a transitional living home for older youth preparing to age out of foster care, low-barrier counseling services, and substance abuse prevention programming. Together, these services aim to alter generational patterns of abuse by giving families the tools needed to grow stronger together.
