Carol Johnson
With an inaugural event in 2001, the Braunfels Foundation Trust began presenting the Living Legends of New Braunfels Award. Each year at the Living Legends Luncheon, the Trust recognizes up to three Living Legends of New Braunfels for their years of dedicated support to the people, institutions, and history of our great community.
The award is one of the highest honors given to a resident of New Braunfels and honorees are considered "True Texas Legends." Each is presented with a custom memento and their name is engraved on the Living Legends of New Braunfels Fountain, located at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center.
