How has this work made a difference for you, your business, or our community?

Since day one I knew I wanted to be an active member of the Chamber. The Chamber has impacted all three of those for me. I have been in the payroll business and still in payroll because of the connections I have made amongst our Chamber members. As for me and my community, to be able to have started the HBA and the Dia de los Muertos Festival has not only brought meaningfulness to me but to my family. I do all things to show my daughters how community works and the importance of giving back of your time, labor and voice. This community has embraced the importance of culture in our community. It has been a beautiful thing to see.

What’s one way this work has supported your growth or success?

The Chamber has given me an environment to meet and get to know a great group of people. Not only through my business but personally. With everything the Chamber offers us, that is half the path to our success. It's our job from there to take the tools they give to grow our business. That is the fun part.

In one sentence, why does this work matter?

The Chamber brings opportunity, connection and surrounds you with a community that wants you to be successful.
