NBgives recognizes businesses doing good! Through our awards program, we celebrate businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the community. 

How it works

First, you nominate an organization (or your own organization) that's doing good in the community. There are several categories of giving back:

• Charitable Champion: businesses that go above and beyond in making a positive impact in the community whether through financial contributions, donations of goods or services, or volunteering their time. These businesses serve as an inspiration to others, fostering a culture of giving and compassion within the community. 
• Employee Engagement: businesses that prioritize and excel in fostering a culture of engagement among their employees. These businesses recognize that engaged employees are the cornerstone of organizational success and go above and beyond to create environments where employees feel valued, motivated, and inspired to contribute their best.  
• Heroic Partners Award: businesses that go above and beyond for our first responders. These businesses demonstrate support in various ways to ensure that first responders have the tools and support they need to carry out their lifesaving duties effectively. Their partnership and collaboration with first responders contribute to a safer and more resilient community. 
• Economic Impact Award: businesses that have made significant contributions to the community's economic growth and prosperity. These businesses serve as drivers of innovation, job creation, and sustainable development, positively influencing the local economy. Whether through expanding operations, creating new job opportunities, stimulating local commerce, or investing in infrastructure, recipients of this award demonstrate a commitment to building a thriving and resilient community.

What's next

Next, the nominated organization will receive an email notification with an invitation to apply. Applications are then reviewed by a committee and finalists are invited to attend the annual event where they are celebrated.
