Chamber Board of Directors Election: Ballots Mailed Out!

Published Thursday, November 7, 2024 10:01am

It’s that time of year to select leaders for the New Braunfels Chamber Board of Directors! Per our by-laws (Article III, Section 3B), contributing members will elect directors to serve a three-year term through a mail-in ballot process. All Chamber members should be receiving their ballot soon, and voting is officially open.

Members may vote for up to six (6) nominees by placing an “X” to the left of the candidates’ names. If you’d prefer a write-in candidate, simply cross out a listed nominee and write in your choice. Remember, the by-laws permit only one ballot per return envelope, so be sure to follow this guideline to ensure your vote is counted.

Here are the nominees:

  • Dr. Laurelyn Arterbury – New Braunfels ISD
  • Ryan Kelso – New Braunfels Utilities
  • David Kneuper – Utility Engineering Group
  • Jade Nicola – Wurstfest Association of New Braunfels
  • Marcela (Marcie) Rodriguez – Comal Iron & Metals
  • Melodye Tomsu – Joeris General Contractors

To ensure your ballot is counted:

  • Return it to the Chamber office in the provided return envelope.
  • Deadline: Ballots must be received at the Chamber office by Friday, November 22, or postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service no later than that date.

This election is an essential part of shaping the direction of our Chamber and the broader community. We appreciate your participation and look forward to welcoming new voices to our Board. If you have any questions about the ballot process, please contact the Chamber office.
