Mary Mahlie serves as a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor in Central Texas, bringing more than 35 years of experience guiding high-net-worth individuals, business owners, family offices, and nonprofits through thoughtful wealth and estate planning. She is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals through transparency, fiduciary advice, and a deeply personal understanding of what matters most to them.

Spending the time to truly understand her clients’ priorities, values, and long-term vision, she works alongside the trust team and officers at Moody Bank to develop custom strategies that protect wealth, support philanthropy, strengthen families, and build meaningful legacies. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Mary has continued her executive education through programs at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. She holds multiple professional designations, including Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS), Certified Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Asset Information and Measurement Specialist (AIM), and Six Sigma Black Belt, along with several securities licenses and a Texas Life and Health Insurance license.

Mary lives in Martindale with her family. Every day I she wakes up as says to herself, what can I do today that is meaningful  — both in portfolios and in life. A competitive water skier for decades, she is currently a nationally ranked slalom skier and loves sharing her passion for fun on the water with others.

Mary is involved with New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Alliance, Charitable Gift Planners in Austin, Travis county women’s lawyer association, Financial Women of Texas Banking Austin Group, Cannon Estate Planning for Professionals. Her recent community service work includes; Financial Education Teacher at Akins High School Austin (Academy of Business Leadership & Legal Enterprises), Chairwoman of All Can Ski, a Texas Paraplegic Sport, Religious Education instructor past 10 years at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Martindale, and former Chairwoman of San Marcos River Ranch Tournaments.
