For sixty years, the Texas Legislative Conference has brought together the people shaping the future of our state. On March 26 and 27, 2026, we will gather at the New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this long-standing tradition and engage in the conversations that matter most for Texas.
The Texas Legislative Conference is a nonpartisan event that creates space for policymakers, business leaders, and community influencers to sit at the same table. It is where ideas are exchanged openly, relationships are built intentionally, and real insight is gained about the direction of our state. This milestone year blends meaningful policy discussion with a celebration that feels distinctly Texas.
We begin Thursday evening, March 26, with the Texan of the Year Reception honoring Robert Earl Keen as the 2026 Texan of the Year. From 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and high-level networking in a room filled with leaders. The evening features live performances by Bri Bagwell, Ashton Naylor, Cameron Albright, Hank Weaver, and Josh and Kristi Grider. Major sponsors are invited to a private VIP hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., creating an elevated opportunity to connect before the reception begins.
On Friday morning, March 27, the half-day conference runs from 8:00 to 11:45 a.m. and focuses on the issues shaping Texas today and tomorrow. Panels will explore the influence of the Texas Triangle, statewide policy priorities, fiscal outlook, workforce challenges, innovation, and the evolving relationship between the public and private sectors. The format is fast-paced and designed for engaged leaders who want candid dialogue and practical takeaways.
Following the conference, attendees are invited to continue the conversation at Krause’s Cafe for Polka and Politics from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., a relaxed setting to connect and build relationships in true New Braunfels style.
Tickets are straightforward and accessible. The Texan of the Year Reception is $80. The Friday Half-Day Conference is $70. A two-day pass is $135. For businesses looking to bring a team, a four-pack bundle is available for $525 and includes four two-day passes plus a small sponsorship credit, offering added visibility.
If you have attended before, you know the level of conversation and connection this event delivers. If not, this 60th anniversary year is the perfect time to be in the room.
