Justin Meadows Named 2025 Chair of the Board Award Honoree for Civic Leadership

The New Braunfels Chamber has named Justin Meadows as a recipient of the 2025 Chair of the Board Award in the field of Civic Leadership. This annual award is given to no more than six individuals who demonstrate outstanding service and leadership in the community.

Meadows has made a lasting impact through his role as chair of both the Community Advisory Panel and the Rate Advisory Panel at New Braunfels Utilities. His leadership has helped create a space where community voices are welcomed, respected, and reflected in key decisions. Under his guidance, the panels have offered thoughtful recommendations that support NBU’s strategic planning and long-term investments in infrastructure needed to serve New Braunfels’ growing population.

Beyond his work with NBU, Meadows has a strong record of civic involvement, including service on New Braunfels City Council and leadership roles with the Chamber and other local organizations. He is known for his steady commitment, collaborative approach, and dedication to moving the community forward.

 

Joyce Yannuzzi and Sonya Chapa-Weber Named 2025 Chair of the Board Award Honorees for District Relations

The New Braunfels Chamber has announced Joyce Yannuzzi and Sonya Chapa-Weber as recipients of the 2025 Chair of the Board Award in the field of District Relations. This recognition is awarded to no more than six individuals or teams each year and honors outstanding service to the New Braunfels community.

In their roles as District Director and Director of Constituent Services for Senator Donna Campbell, Yannuzzi and Chapa-Weber have been strong advocates for New Braunfels. Throughout the most recent legislative session, their responsiveness, accessibility, and understanding of local priorities played a key role in advancing efforts that benefit the region. Their support of community initiatives and consistent engagement with constituents have strengthened connections between the district office and the people it serves.

In addition to their public service, both are active participants in Chamber programs and broader community efforts. Their dedication to civic engagement and collaborative problem-solving has made them trusted partners and valued leaders in New Braunfels.
